Heiße Sache: Zur Synthese von Halbleiter- und Metallkügelchen muss das anisotrope Kristallwachstum eingedämmt werden, dies ist bei Anwendung herkömmlicher Heizmethoden aber schwer zu erreichen. Selektives Heizen von Nanopartikel-Kolloiden durch Laserpulse führt dagegen zu Halbleiter- und Metallkügelchen mit Submikrometergröße.
