Doch noch fündig geworden: Eine einfache und effiziente Eintopfsynthese liefert mehrere kationische [Pd(1,2,3,7,8-η5-Octa-2,7-dien-1-yl)(PR3)]+-Komplexe (siehe Struktur; rosa Pd, rot O, orange P), bei denen es sich um die lange gesuchten Schlüsselintermediate in der Pd/PR3-katalysierten Telomerisierung von Butadien handelt.
