Atomic Resolution of the Structure of a Metal–Support Interface: Triosmium Clusters on MgO(110)

Metall im Huckepack: Aberrationskorrigierte STEM-Aufnahmen von Triosmiumclustern auf einem MgO-Träger zeigen, dass sich die Os-Atome direkt auf den Mg-Atomen befinden (siehe Bild). Auf Grundlage der Daten werden Strukturmodelle der Cluster einschließlich der Metall-Träger-Wechselwirkung formuliert.
