Ein Nanowurm ist nicht gern allein: Die Selbstorganisation eines neuartigen geladenen metallhaltigen Diblockcopolymers liefert lösliche Nanowürmer, die sich zweidimensional zu nanogemusterten Oberflächen anordnen (siehe Bild; M′,M′′=Fe, Zn, Cu, Co). Die Neigung nanostrukturierter Metall-organischer Gerüste, große Kristalle zu bilden, wurde damit überwunden.
