Diskretion gefragt: Virenbasierte Nanopartikelgerüste (VNPs) wurden für den Aufbau diskreter dreidimensionaler Nanoarchitekturen über zwei Stufen verwendet (siehe Bild): 1) Einschluss von Quantenpunkten (QDs) in VNPs aus Cystein-modifiziertem Capsid-Protein VP1 des Simian-Virus 40; 2) Anbringen einer bestimmten Zahl von Au-Nanopartikeln (AuNPs) an die VNP-Oberflächen über Au-S-Kupplungen.
