Anatas- und Anatas-Rutil-TiO2 wurden durch hoch dispergierte Eisenoxidspezies an der Oberfläche elektronisch modifiziert. Chemisorptions-Kalzinierungs-Zyklen mit [Fe(acac)3] (acac=Acetylacetonat) als Vorstufe ergaben eine ausgeprägte Aktivität im sichtbaren Bereich sowie eine erhöhte Aktivität bei UV-Bestrahlung (cb=Leitungsband, vb=Valenzband).
