Heterostrukturierte Halbleiter-„Streichhölzer“ mit Ag2S-Köpfen und ZnS-Spänen (siehe TEM-Bild) wurden durch gemeinsame thermische Zersetzung von Ag(DDTC) und Zn(DDTC)2 (DDTC=Diethyldithiocarbamat) hergestellt. Die Heteronanostrukturen zeigen sowohl UV/blaue (λex=280 nm) als auch nahinfrarote (λex=785 nm) Photolumineszenz.
