Lebendzellbildgebung: Ein kovalentes Konjugat aus Graphenoxid und Peptidsubstraten mit fluorophoren Markierungen dient als intrazellulärer Proteasesensor. Das Konjugat kann in lebende Zellen geschleust werden und ermöglicht eine spezifische Hochkontrastbildgebung der Caspase-3-Aktivierung (siehe Bild; orange=zellpenetrierendes Peptid, blau/schwarz=Peptidsonde für Caspase-3).
