Kontrollierte Anregung: Das Anlegen einer relativ niedrigen Vorspannung an das Titelsystem führt zu einer deutlichen Verstärkung der Upconversion-Emission. Darüber hinaus kann die Photolumineszenz(PL)-Intensität durch ein elektrisches Wechselstromfeld moduliert werden (siehe Bild). Dieser Ansatz bietet eine dynamische Echtzeitkontrolle der Photolumineszenz.
