Nicht wählerisch: Eine effiziente und allgemeine palladiumkatalysierte C-O-Verknüpfungsreaktion sekundärer und primärer Alkohole mit vielfältigen Arylhalogeniden beruht auf dem Einsatz eines einzigen Liganden (1). Heteroarylhalogenide und erstmals auch elektronenreiche Arylhalogenide können so mit sekundären Alkoholen gekuppelt werden.
