Vier-faltigkeit: Nicht nur die Identifizierung, sondern auch die schnelle Charakterisierung und Einteilung von Nucleinsäure-G-Quadruplexen in Topologiegruppen ist durch UV- und Circular-Dichroismus(CD)-Spektroskopie möglich (siehe Bild). Mit günstiger UV-Spektroskopie kann nun das bisher nur mit CD-Spektroskopie mögliche Charakterisierungsniveau erreicht werden.
