In Gegenwart luftstabiler Kupfersalze und eines einfachen chiralen Amins als Cokatalysator reagieren Bis(pinacolato)dibor, Enale und 2-(Triphenylphosphoranyliden)acetate in einer Sequenz aus katalytischer asymmetrischer konjugierter Boranaddition und Wittig-Reaktion hoch enantioselektiv zu Homoallylboronsäureestern (siehe Schema).
