Elektrifizierend! Ein Bauelement aus Kohlenstoffnanoröhren, die von Poly(3-hexylthiophen) umhüllt und in Polydimethylsiloxan-Blättchen dispergiert sind, konvertiert Laserlicht effizient in thermische Energie und nachfolgend in Elektrizität. Der Konverter ist flexibel und äußerst kompakt (siehe Bild) und kann mit einem Laser manipuliert werden, dessen Licht lebendes Gewebe durchdringt.
