Durch supramolekulare Selbstorganisation gelingt die Synthese von Nanofasern in einem Mikrofluidikkanal im makroskopischen Maßstab. In ihrer Zuschrift auf S. 1585 ff. berichten S. Takeuchi et al. über meterlange Fasern, die von einer Polymergelmatrix umhüllt sind. Die Fasern richten sich parallel zum laminaren Fluss aus. Ihre mechanische Stärke ist so groß, dass sie auf einen Träger aufgebracht und als Templat zur Synthese leitfähiger Polymere genutzt werden können.
