Marine Ringsysteme: Eine enantioselektive Synthese des marinen Antibiotikums (−)-atrop-Abyssomicin C (siehe Schema) beruht auf der Bildung des Cyclohexanrings unter dualer Katalyse, dem goldkatalysierten Aufbau einer tricyclischen Spirotetronat-Einheit und der hoch effizienten Erzeugung des elfgliedrigen Rings durch eine Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi-Reaktion.
