Orthogonale RNA-Schalter steuern unabhängig voneinander in ein und derselben Bakterienzelle die Coexprimierung mehrerer Gene als Antwort auf die Dosis bestimmter synthetischer niedermolekularer Substanzen. Mithilfe dieser Technik sind hoch dynamische Exprimierungsmuster und gewünschte Proteinverhältnisse leicht zugänglich.
