Ganz verschieden: Zwei neue Benzonorrol-Dimere mit direkter Verknüpfung weisen kleine Ebenenabstände unter 3.5 Å auf. Doch während in der oxidierten Form (links) eine starke π-π-Wechselwirkung vorliegt, war diese in der reduzierten Form (rechts) vernachlässigbar – trotz des kleineren π-π-Abstands.
