Rasche Vereinigung: Eine allgemein anwendbare Strategie für die konvergente chemische Synthese von Proteinen aus Peptidsegmenten wurde entwickelt. Die Peptidhydrazid-Zwischenstufen können kostengünstig hergestellt werden, und die neue Strategie wurde zur Synthese des 142 Aminosäuren langen Modellproteins RpS25 aus sechs Peptidsegmenten eingesetzt.
