Verlustfreie Synthese: Ein Pd0-katalysierter intermolekularer/intramolekularer Dominoprozess, der durch eine Carbohalogenierung abgeschlossen wird, wurde entworfen. Zwei neue C-C-Bindungen, eine neue C-I-Bindung und ein fünfgliedriger Ring werden in einem einzigen Schritt gebildet, und alle Atome der Ausgangsverbindungen werden in das Produkt eingebaut (siehe Schema).
