Schwer auf Draht: Eine Templatsynthese in Al2O3 liefert Nanodrähte eines alkylierten einkernigen FeIII-Spincrossover-Komplexes. Die Drähte (80–100 nm Durchmesser) können durch Auflösen des Templats mit Säure isoliert werden, ohne dass sich das Produkt zersetzt. Die elektronische Charakterisierung einzelner Drähte gelingt durch gekoppelte Raman-Spektroskopie/AFM (siehe Bild).
