Neue Bindungen: Die Titelreaktion führt zu präparativ nützlichen acyloxylierten Vinylallenen, wobei eine C-C-Bindung, eine C-O-Bindung und eine Allenstruktur neu gebildet werden. In einer aeroben Variante dieser Transformation werden katalytische Mengen an p-Benzochinon (BQ) und Cobaltsalophen eingesetzt.
