Eiserne Helfer: Die chemische und durch sichtbares Licht ausgelöste Oxidation von Wasser durch Eisenkomplexe und Eisensalze bei pH 7–9 wurde untersucht. Die Eisenkomplexe und -salze sind die Präkatalysatoren (siehe Schema), aus denen α-Fe2O3-Nanopartikel als der eigentliche Katalysator für die Wasseroxidation mit einer Umsatzzahl über 1000 erzeugt werden.
