Phasen: Die Koexistenz von rhomboedrischen LiTMO2- (TM=Ni, Co, Mn) und monoklinen Strukturen vom Li2MnO3-Typ in Li1.2Mn0.567Ni0.166Co0.067O2 wird mit atomarer Auflösung direkt nachgewiesen. Die beobachtete Heterogrenzfläche entlang der [001]rh/[103]mon-Zonenachsenrichtung belegt den Zweiphasencharakter dieser lithiumreichen Kathodenmaterialien.
