Erbinformation, die in zwei Basen codiert ist, kann in Form von Cyclohexenylnucleinsäure (CeNA), Arabinofuranosylnucleinsäure (AraNA) und Hexitolnucleinsäure (HNA) in vivo in DNA übertragen werden. Demnach kann eine binäre genetische Kassette für das Titelverfahren genutzt werden.
