Die gut verfügbare Hilfsgruppe 2-Methoxyiminoacetyl erleichtert palladiumkatalysierte γ-Arylierungen an C(sp3)-H-Bindungen. Das Auxiliar kann durch Behandlung mit 1 n KOH bei Raumtemperatur leicht entfernt werden; alternativ lässt es sich für Peptidsynthesen in eine Glycineinheit umwandeln.
