Doppelrolle: In einer neuartigen, RhIII-katalysierten Synthese ortho-alkenylierter tertiärer Aniline fungiert eine spurlose dirigierende Gruppe zugleich als internes Oxidans (siehe Schema). Ein fünfgliedriger cyclometallierter RhIII-Komplex wird als plausible Zwischenstufe vorgeschlagen und konnte durch Röntgenstrukturanalyse charakterisiert werden.
