Einschluss mit Folgen: Naphthalindiimid(NDI)-Redoxzentren in molekularen Dreiecksprismen teilen sich Elektronen. Die elektronenarmen Hohlräume dieser Strukturen nehmen lineare Triiodid-Anionen auf, was zur Bildung supramolekularer Helices im festen Zustand führt. Ein Chiralitätstransfer von den sechs Chiralitätszentren der gefüllten Prismen resultiert in Helices mit bestimmter Gangrichtung.
