Eine π-π-Stapelung die durch Triiodidionen (dunkelviolett im Bild) ausgelöst wird, die in den Hohlräumen homochiraler molekularer Prismen binden, führt zur Bildung gleichhändiger Übermoleküle. In der Zuschrift auf S. 13338 ff. zeigen J. F. Stoddart, M. R. Wasielewski et al., dass dieser Prozess unter Chiralitätstransfer abläuft und durch Through-Space-Orbitalwechselwirkungen im Innern der Prismen unterstützt wird, die bei Reduktion zu einer Elektronendelokalisierung um einen dreieckigen Hohlraum führen.
