      Graphene has unique electronic and material properties, which can lead to enhanced material performance in graphene-based devices and applications. The cover shows a multi-layered reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-deposited polymeric film for barrier polymer applications. This can be simply prepared by various common coating methods such as spin coating, spray coating, and layer-by-layer coating from GO or rGO solutions that are well-dispersed in aqueous or organic solvents. These highly packed graphene multilayer-deposited polymeric films exhibit low gas and water vapour permeability, with potential application in barrier packaging for food, and in electronic devices such as flexible displays.       The proper dispersion of nanoparticles plays a key role in improving the dielectric properties of a material, and to understand where changes in the properties of a material originate, Raman contour plots can be used to evaluate the concentration of inorganic fillers in a polymer matrix. Suvi Virtanen et al. characterize the permittivity, breakdown strength, and structure of CaCO3/polypropylene composites. The cover shows Raman contour maps of the cast samples generated by the integration of the most intense characteristic peak of CaCO3. The differences in dielectric properties are explained by the existence of large microparticles rather than the quality of nanoparticle dispersion, indicating the importance of multiscale characterization.       In the semiconductor manufacturing process, the formation of bubbles in liquid chemicals can cause small defects, lowering the product yield rate. To remove bubbles, a gas permeable membrane produced using a melt extrusion and stretching process can be applied as a separation method. In this study by Masamoto Uenishi et al., blow-molded films are uniaxially stretched, and the relationship between the gas permeation behavior and the molecular mobility of the ethylene butylene rubber chains is investigated. The cover shows transmission electron micrographs of a 3D-network structure from a polymer blend in the stretched film. The unique gas permeation properties are explained by the anisotropic molecular mobility of the rubber chain. Anisotropic behavior is maintained by the 3D-network structure, which could lead to a novel fabrication technique for elastomers. DOI: 10.1002/app.39386
