ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting Events

It is not too late to register for the 2005 Annual Scientific Meeting to be held November 12–17 in San Diego, California. Special events include the ARHP Networking and New Member Orientation Breakfast on Monday, November 14th, 7:45–9:45 am, and the Networking at Noon luncheon, Tuesday, November 15th (free lunch to the first 200 attendees). Call for Proposals ARHP 41st Annual Scientific Meeting, Washington, DC

A call for proposals has been announced for the 2006 Annual Scientific Meeting to be held November 10–15, 2006 in Washington, DC. Members and nonmembers may submit a proposal in one of the following formats: a lecture (single speaker), symposium (not to exceed 3 speakers) or hands-on, interactive workshop (should emphasize interaction and should not exceed 3 speakers). Sessions are scheduled as concurrent for 60 or 90 minutes and may be placed on the program on any day/time during the annual scientific meeting.

Session presenters and the coordinator are responsible for their own travel and must pay the appropriate registration fee. No funds are available for honoraria. Presenters will be required to provide conflict of interest/disclosure statements if applicable. The ARHP reserves the right to accept all or part of any proposal, copyedit the title, purpose, and objectives, and adjust the requested time to meet the needs of the program. 2006 ARHP Audio Conference Series

The ARHP Audio Conference Series is designed to meet the educational needs of health professionals involved in the management of patients with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. The series is a convenient, cost-effective way to experience leading content from experts in the field. Held monthly beginning in January and running through June, each live, interactive 60-minute session will explore an aspect of the most current information available about arthritis care. Sessions are always scheduled from noon–1:00 PM Eastern Time, and registered participants will receive the speaker's handout materials prior to the call, along with a toll-free phone number and instructions. Asian Rheumatology: Facing the Challenge (12th Congress of the Asian League Against Rheumatism)

The APLAR Congress will be held August 1–5, 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Abstract deadline is February 15, 2006. The official language is English.
