Members of the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals who wish to receive Arthritis & Rheumatism and Arthritis Care & Research in electronic form only may opt to receive a paperless subscription. This option has been available to members outside of North America since 2007, and beginning with the January 2009 issues of the journals, will become available to members in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The online editions of the journals include HTML and PDF versions of all articles, supplementary materials, and search capability, with several enhancements planned.

US, Canada, and Mexico ACR/ARHP members who wish to request an online-only subscription should check the “online-only journal” option on the membership notice. Members who wish to switch to an online-only subscription later in the year, after the membership notice has been sent in, should send an e-mail to membership@rheumatology.org. Include your name, postal address, and member number if known. Members outside the US, Canada, and Mexico who wish to request an online-only subscription should check the “online-only journal” option on the membership notice.

To access the full, current content of Arthritis & Rheumatism and Arthritis Care & Research online, ACR/ARHP members must complete a one-time registration. To do so, go to the home page of the ACR Web site, click Publications, click either Arthritis & Rheumatism or Arthritis Care & Research, and follow the instructions shown for first-time users (you will need to enter your ACR username and password to access the instructions).
