Manchester Grand Hyatt
San Diego, CA
The International Meeting for Autism Research will be held Thursday, May 12, through Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California USA. The photograph on the back cover of the journal is the San Diego skyline. (http://www.sandiegolook.com/sandiego.jpg).
The conference hotel is the beautiful Manchester Grand Hyatt. In addition to all the in-hotel amenities and services, this hotel offers a spectacular waterfront resort-like setting. It is ideally situated on San Diego Bay, between the San Diego Convention Center and the city's popular Seaport Village, with a host of shopping, dining, and entertainment venues just steps away in the Gaslamp Quarter.
The Hyatt is near the waterfront's famous harbor cruises, sport-fishing tours, and the USS Midway Museum. And of course don't forget the world famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, historic Old Town, Balboa Park, Children's Museum, famous beaches, tennis, running and biking trails, and championship golf courses.
Of course we will also have many activities to keep you occupied indoors, including keynote addresses on the latest findings relevant to our fields, as well as a series of invited educational symposia, oral presentations, scientific panels, and many posters. We will continue the very popular Technology & Autism poster'demo session, which focuses on innovative uses of technology in autism research and therapy. During lunch time, we will expand the special interest meetings that have been so successful over the past few years. We will also be hosting several events for students, both social and scientific, enabling networking for future jobs, and meeting colleagues, so stay tuned as the schedule is formalized.
Up-to-date information on the conference is available at www.autism-insar.org. Meeting registration and hotel registration is available on the website.
