Chicago Hilton and Towers
The International Meeting for Autism Research will be held May 7–9, 2009 at the Chicago Hilton and Towers in downtown Chicago, USA.
The photograph on the back cover of the journal is of the Art Institute of Chicago, which is a few blocks from the meeting site on Michigan Avenue.
We'll have many activities to keep you occupied at the conference, including keynote addresses by Mark Bear, Ph.D., Catherine Lord, Ph.D., and Steve Scherer, Ph.D., as well as six invited educational symposia, one hundred and twenty oral presentations and over seven hundred poster presentations.
In addition, we will have a new technology & autism poster/demo session, including thirty presentations that will focus on innovative uses of technology in autism research.
One schedule change this year will be that presentations will end by Saturday at 3:30 PM. This will allow many of you in the U.S. to return home for Mother's Day or to enjoy activities in Chicago, including visiting the Art Institute and many other attractions that Chicago has to offer.
Up-to-date information on the conference, including links to hotel and meeting registration is available at www.autism-insar.org.
