Running with copper: 4-dimethylaminopryidine-stabilized Cu nanoparticles (DMAP-CuNPs) are used to catalyze the formation of CN bonds. The catalytic reaction proceeds as in a homogeneous system, whereas, the catalyst can be separated and recycled as in heterogeneous catalysis. A five-run test demonstrates that DMAP-CuNPs have high stability and recyclability.
