Quasi-cubic and dodecahedral α-Fe2O3 polyhedrons with different high-index facets exposed were synthesized by being induced with Zn2+ and Cu2+, respectively. These crystals were demonstrated to have shape- and surface-dependent magnetic behavior. For more details see the Full Paper by Q. Lu, F. Gao et al. on page 8957 ff.
