Close-up tubing set of the CliniMACS Prodigy: a new single-use disposable for manufacture of cellular products
Manufacturing cells for therapy: A tubing set for the new CliniMACS Prodigy is presented in the close-up. These single-use disposable sets have been developed to facilitate fully automated manufacturing of cellular products for clinical applications like cancer therapy or regenerative medicine. Multiple cell processing workflows can be integrated in a functionally closed environment: from automated sample loading, cell labeling and washing through density-based and magnetic cell separation to cell culture and final product formulation. This new platform technology has been designed for GMP-compliant processing of almost any kind of cellular product and may allow advancing innovative research into next generation cellular therapies for routine use.
