Abstract
A hybrid adsorption heat pump water heater has been studied for domestic use. It is a water heater with dual heat sources, and it combines the performances of adsorption heat pumps and conventional gas boilers. Moreover, functional adsorbent material-zeolite (FAM-Z02, Mitsubishi Chemicals) and water are a new adsorption pair for adsorption heat pumps. This article describes the operation, design, and performance analysis of one such water-heating device. The experimental results showed that the hybrid water heater in the whole year has a stable COP even at low ambient temperature. The hybrid water heater can thus achieve high energy efficiency.
Un chauffe-eau hybride avec pompe à chaleur à adsorption destiné à un usage domestique a été étudié. Il s'agit d'un chauffe-eau possédant deux sources de chaleur et recourant aux principes des pompes à chaleur à adsorption et des chaudières à gaz classiques. De plus, un matériau adsorbant fonctionnel à zéolites (FAM-Z02, Mitsubishi Chemicals) et l'eau constituent un nouveau jumelage pour pompes à chaleur à adsorption. L'article décrit et analyse le fonctionnement, la conception et le rendement d'un de ces chauffe-eau. Les résultats de l'essai ont démontré que le chauffe-eau hybride offre un rendement (COP) stable tout au long de l'année, et ce, même si la température ambiante est basse. Le chauffe-eau hybride offre donc un rendement énergétique élevé.
