Isobaric vapor—liquid equilibrium in binary mixtures of m- and p-xylenes with cyclohexene and cyclohexanone

Abstract

The vapor-liquid equilibrium data of the binary mixtures of m- and p-xylenes with cyclohexene and cyclohexanone are determined at P = 40 and 98.67 kPa. The systems show a nearly ideal behavior with no remarkable difference in the activity coefficients of m- and p-xylenes. The experimental data are correlated by the Wilson expression.

Abstract

On a déterminé, à P = 40 et 98,67 kPa, les données d'équilibre liquide-vapeur des mélanges binaires de meta- et para-xylènes avec le cyclohexène et la cyclohexanone. Ces systèmes montrent un comportement presque idéal et aucune différence remarquable dans les coefficients d'activité des meta- et para-xylènes. On a employé l'expression de Wilson pour corréler les résultats expérimentaux.
