In the above-referenced original article, two text errors appear. On page 2557, right column, fourth paragraph (under the RESULTS heading), line 3, the sentence should read:
The 120-base pair (bp) PCR product of exon 7 was digested to 64- and 56-bp fragments naturally, and this site was eliminated when the mutation was present (Fig. 1).
In the left column, first line of page 2558, the sentence should appear as follows:
The product of exon 15 was digested to 158- and 59-bp fragments naturally, and this site was eliminated when the mutation was present (Fig. 4).
Results and conclusions remain unaffected.
