The authors have done an outstanding job in putting forth a case for the role of hormones in the causation of endocrine malignancies. The idea of hormones being involved in the initiation of tumors has been around for a few years, but with very little supportive data. The authors have managed to gather not only their data, but those of others as well, and weave a plausible case for such a role.
