Abstract
Confocal laser scanning microscope image of double-labeling immunohistochemistry for SNAP-25 (green) and v-GAT (magenta) in the rat somatosensory cortex. SNAP-25 immunoreactivity was undetectable in inhibitory terminals identified by v-GAT antibody both scattered in the neuropil and clustered around unlabeled neurons. Golgi-like SNAP-25 immunoreactivity was rarely seen in unlabeled large pyramidal neurons. J. Comp. Neurol. 506:373–386, 2008. © 2007 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
