The frontispiece shows a schematic representation of a technique that simultaneously combines electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and nanogravimetric measurements by using an electrochemical quartz crystal nanobalance. This approach allows in situ characterization and better understanding of concurrent processes (adsorption, absorption, metal deposition, and catalytic reactions) at different electrode potentials or as a function of time.
