Abstract
Intentional, values-based dialogue is a powerful framework for working with conflict in complex public policy disputes, especially those involving environmental issues. This article describes the development and use of this dialogue method by the author at one organization, over eight years for seven projects. The premise is that conflict is natural to the human condition and the differences underlying conflict are resources for new thinking.
