The inside cover picture shows a general strategy to perform biphasic reactions without the need for stirring. Stirring is widely adopted in laboratory- and industry-scale synthesis to accelerate reactions. However, stirring not only requires a large energy input but can also cause, for example, particle fragmentation. Yang et al. demonstrate a general and new strategy that can be used to perform organic/aqueous biphasic reactions without stirring while still achieving reaction efficiencies comparable to conventional stirring-driven biphasic reactions.
