Valspar is a global manufacturer and distributor of a portfolio of coatings, paints and related products. Co. operates through two segments: Coatings, whose products include a range of decorative and protective coatings for metal, wood, plastic and glass, as well as coatings for the interior and exterior of metal packaging containers, primarily food containers and beverage cans; and Paints, which provides a portfolio of interior and exterior paints, stains, primers, varnishes, high performance floor paints and specialty decorative products, as well as automotive refinish paints. Co. also makes and sells specialty polymers, colorants and gelcoats, and sells furniture protection plans.
