The serial images were taken at a 0.6-μm-interval from a section of the midgut epithelium in the Ror2−/− embryo. Throughout all eight images, the aPKC signal was weak or partly absent in the apical regions of the cell clump (arrowheads), as compared with that of other apical regions in the epithelium, which was similar to that shown in Figure 7B.
