Interaction of Vanadium with Iron and Antimony at 870 and 1070 K (pages 2588–2595)

Isothermal sections of the V–Fe–Sb ternary system were constructed. Ternary samples with equiatomic composition were crystallized in MgAgAs and Ni2In structures at 870 and 1070 K, respectively. Diverse analyses could not confirm a polymorph phase transition of VFeSb antimonide. VFeSb at 1070 K is part of a VyFe2–xSb solid solution characterized by different ranges at the investigated temperatures.
