    • W. K. Tusa is an Associate and Manager of Solid and Hazardous Waste Services at Fred C. Hart Associates, Inc. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a major in Sanitary Engineering and a minor in Aquatic Sciences from Cornell University. He is also a member of the following ASCE Committees: Hazardous Waste Committee (past-Chairman) Residuals Management Committee (past Vice-Chairman) and Environmental Impact Task Committee (Control Group Member). Mr. Tusa is also current program chairman for ASCE's local environmental engineering committee and is listed in Who's Who in the East.


The advantages and disadvantages of both on-site and off-site hazardous-waste disposal must be carefully weighed for each particular facility.
