Double-stage Organic Rankine cycle have been studied thermodynamically and under constructional aspects of expansion unit. Analysis of 35 fluids out of 5 chemical classes showed that fluid combination decane/isopentane has high potential in efficiency. Transmitted heat flow to low temperature circuit divided to that of high-temperature circuit is a crucial factor for total efficiency.
