Abstract

Simulated common disease data have been analyzed to identify a model of disease expression that involves the complex interaction of quantitative traits controlled by major genes and an environmental factor. Correlation and multiple regression analyses in conjunction with quantitative sib-pair linkage analyses revealed a portion of the model involved. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
